Gina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in the treatment of families, adolescents and children. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
Gina has worked with children and families in a variety of settings since 2003, including out-patient settings, residential treatment centers, schools, and in-patient hospital settings. She has experience supporting children and families experiencing challenging life transitions such as illness and divorce, recovery from neglect and abuse, marital/relationship problems, single-parenting issues and families of children affected by autism and related disorders.
Gina uses an eclectic approach to her practice through a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy as well as incorporating concepts of mindfulness and somatic insight for an integrated approach to healing. She is also certified in Triple P Positive Parenting, a supportive intervention program for parents of children with developmental disabilities.
Gina views therapy as an opportunity to support clients on their journey toward self discovery and creating a greater sense of joy and fulfillment in life. As a therapist, she creates a safe and nurturing environment to encourage healing and self growth.
