Biophilia— is a love of nature—it’s an emotional word that reminds us of our desire to protect and care for the natural world, and that by itself is enough of a reason to nurture this emotion. When we love nature, we find endless opportunities for rejuvenation, connection, peace, joy, serenity, mindfulness, wonder, and awe in the natural world.
During this weekend retreat, we will explore all the ways in which we can remember our love of nature, our embodied connection to nature, and fall in love again with our lives and being part of this Earth.
We will explore where we get stuck, the traumas, and the challenges we face in life that leave us disconnected and discover ways to heal.
The teachings and practices offered in this retreat are a path to healing. They are designed to provide you with safe and supportive practices to explore healing the places you may feel trauma has caused you to be stuck. Mindfulness, somatic healing, and nature invite you to come home to yourself and to reside with ease, possibility, and love in your life. Take this journey of healing for yourself to support transforming trauma and fully living into your life.
The wisdom of mindfulness and somatic meditations with our love of nature come together to transform trauma and heal. You will learn various practices and practical ways of connecting to our deep love of this Earth to heal.
The weekend retreat will include periods of meditation practice, group discussion, Q/A, inquiry, reflection, music/movement, and art expressions with nature.
This is a non-residential retreat. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided daily. Please make arrangements if you are not local for accommodations. Air b and b has many local options as well there are many local hotels that can be reserved through any travel website.
