Healing in Nature – Opening to Love
Nurture your mind, body and spirit in the beauty of nature to allow your heart to open and be touched by expressions of love in nature. We will practice somatic mindfulness in nature meditations in the woods and canyons of San Diego to find support, connection and love within to allow your heart to more fully open to life.
This half day retreat will explore meditation practices for the cultivation of awakening experiences of love. You will learn ways to cultivate heart practices and learn skills to integrate these practices into your everyday life that will support your healing journey. We will be with the cradle of the canyon, care from the canopies of the trees and our community you will learn to heal the body, mind and heart to open into more love and kindness in your life.
Timeline / Outline of the event:
10 – Arrive, settle in, Introductions, nature mindfulness practice
10-1130 – Teaching and practices on somatic mindfulness meditation practices and opening to love
1130-12 –Time on own to explore and integrate practices learned/journaling options
12-1230 – Closing, offering on-going support
Materials on topics discussed will be provided, and opportunities for journaling will be available throughout the workshop. Somatic nature mindfulness practices will be both seated and movement based.
