This course is an opportunity to learn mindfulness and somatic experiencing with nature to deepen connections to the Cycles of Nature and how they support Healing from Trauma.
Cycles and Rhythms are a part of how all life ebbs and flows. Often we miss or are disconnected to healthy cycles of life when we have not healed from trauma. We end up feeling imbalances, disruptions in the flow of life which therein cause us more stress, reactivity and dysregulation in life. The teachings and practices offered in this course are a path to healing trauma and connecting to the healthy cycles in life, bringing balance, ease and regulation into all areas of life.
During the course you will learn to connect to various cycles of nature and rhythms within yourself to heal the traumas in your life, Each week in this course we will explore how nature reveals her cycles, moons, tides, seasons, ecosystems inspiring us and directing us in ways to wake up to similar healthy rhythms within ourselves. In the third week of the course, we will have an opportunity on the Summer Solstice to feel into energy, cycle and rhythm of this special time of the year. Listening deeply and connecting to the healthy cycles and rhythms of life can transform our lives. Trauma is stuck and stored within the body; once transformed and removed with skillful means, we awaken to the healthy rhythms and expressions of our life, allowing us to experience life with balance, ease and regulation.
The course will include periods of meditation practice, group discussion, Q/A, inquiry, reflection, music/movement, and creative connections through art and symbolism to cycles of nature.
4 Live Virtual Sessions – Tuesday Evenings 5pm – 630pm (PST)/ 6-730 MT – Guided meditation, talk, Q&A to support practice to integrate healing.
