This course is an opportunity to learn how mindfulness and somatic meditations in nature support you in healing from trauma to experience life with more aliveness and explore ways to heal nature (who in her own right is suffering with trauma) from your experience of healing.
The teachings and practices offered in this course are a path to healing. They are designed to provide you safe and supportive practices to explore healing the places you may feel trauma has caused you to be stuck. Mindfulness, somatic healing, and nature invite you to come home to yourself, to reside with ease, possibility, and love in your life. This journey is to support your healing and transform trauma to fully live into your life.
We will review how practices of mindfulness and somatic experiencing heal our trauma. We then will cover through the weeks of this course how to form healthy patterns/habits into daily life, deepen meaningful relationships and live into the creative expressions of your healing. We will also explore how nature has helped to heal your trauma and live more fully and then consider how we might help nature to heal from the traumas she is experiencing.
The course will include periods of meditation practice, group discussion, Q/A, inquiry, reflection, music/movement, and art creations.
4 Live Virtual Sessions – Monday Evenings 5pm – 630pm (PST)/ 6-730 MT with guided meditation, talk, and Q&A to support practice to integrate healing.
