Heal in nature with the support of mindfulness to cultivate a deeper sense of releasing our body, mind, and heart. Spend the day exploring meditation practices for the cultivation of learning to let go, allow change and surrender into the moment to trust what will arise. Through mindfulness nature meditations, somatic experiencing practices and teaching, you will have an opportunity to find a greater connection to yourself. You will learn ways to cultivate letting go and allowing change and learn skills to integrate these practices into your everyday life that will support your healing journey. We will in the wonderful healing gardens of Terra Madre to support the body, mind, and heart to let go and let be.
Timeline / Outline of the event:
10 – Arrive, settle in, Introductions, nature mindfulness practice
10:30 – 12:30 – Teaching and practices on nature mindfulness meditation practices and somatic experiencing, how they relate to helping to let go and allowing change
12:30 – 1:30 – Lunch – opportunities for silence, connection to the land, to practice what has been learned and/or meet with teachers individually
1:30 – 3:30 – Teaching and practices on mindfulness in nature can help us experience more ability to embrace surrendering and trusting what arises
3:30 – 4:30 – Community connection, sharing, and support
4:30 – Closing, offering on-going support
*Materials on topics discussed will be provided, and opportunities for journaling will be available throughout the workshop. Somatic mindfulness practices will be both seated and movement-based.
