Given the challenges of busy life and difficulty to schedule in-person sessions, Dr. Calvert has designed courses that are self -guided to support people in the development of mindfulness meditation practice at the pace of your choice and from whatever location is most convenient. The online courses from New Mindful Life are designed to support individuals who want to learn about and develop regular practice of mindfulness meditation but cannot physically visit the studio for one of our scheduled Six-Week Introductory Training.
This online Six-Week Introductory Training (SIT) in mindfulness course is designed to introduce mindfulness practices in a simple and clear progression to integrate mindfulness into clients’ daily lives. This course helps people to start with short practice times, and builds incrementally over 6 weeks to help people grow in their practice to 20-30 minutes daily. There are videos to support learning mindfulness teaching points, guided audios to practice meditations, and journaling opportunities to reflect about growth in practice.
